What is Laser Clay Shooting?
Is a fast-paced sport which is very popular internationally as it is identical to clay target shooting but without any of the risk. The shotguns have been deactivated and therefore there is no recoil making laser clay shooting suitable for all ages and for people with disabilities. Plastic clays are thrown at different angles with all 5 shooters shooting at the same clay. A digital scoreboard keeps track of each shooters score which is prominently displayed for all shooters and spectators to see.
No live ammunition is used, therefore all the safety issues associated with clay target shooting is removed. All plastic clays are picked up at the end of the event which makes this activity environmentally friendly and suitable for any venue.
All events are hosted by our resident International Olympic Coach who has 37 years’ experience as a shooter and has an A level Coaching license from the ISSF. In addition, he has represented South Africa at several international competitions. He will ensure that all shooters not only have fun but get to hit the targets. Laser clay shooting is great fun for the whole family.

We can host you at Papkuilsfontein Farm in Malmesbury or we are mobile and can come to you.
In order to ensure that all shooters get the full experience we require a space of 40×50 meters to setup our clay machines. Please contact us directly so that we can do a site visit and confirm that the venue can accommodate the activity.
Price
R3,000 per hour for up to 10 shooters
Please note:
- Pre-booking is essential.
- We can accommodate a maximum of 10 shooters per hour for each shooter to be guaranteed 40 clays.
- For groups of less than 10 each shooter will face additional clays. For example, a group of 5 will result in each shooter facing 80 clays in the hour.
- For groups of more than 10 additional time will need to be booked.
- For venues further than 20kms from Durbanville or Malmesbury an equipment transport fee will be charged at AA rates.
